Intructions :
1. Go to your Customize page.
2. Choose "Flexible Squares" in the search line.
3. Click "Apply Theme" and choose the theme that you like
4. Scroll down to "Choose a Page Setup", and click "Apply Layout" on the icon that says "2 Column (sidebar on left)
5. Then click on the button that says "Customize Selected Theme".
6. Look to the left and click on "Custom CSS". Change the first two the "Use layout's stylesheet" to No.
7. On 'Use external stylesheets', type in No.
8. Copy the code below and paste it into the white box below. Then click Save Changes. Finish ^^

the sidebar doesn't appear in your journal ><, because it's not "1 column, no sidebar" but "2 Column (sidebar on left)"
